Pattern Alteration for Bigger Busts- 16th July 2016

If you have a full bust you will have tried many ways to adjust a commercial pattern to fit – adding at the side seams or buying a larger pattern – this will rarely give the desired finish.

On this workshop you will firstly learn how to choose the correct size pattern, then adjust the bust point so that darts and seams fit your curves. Go on to adjust three different styles of bodice - one with no dart, a side dart and princess seams.
Once you have learnt the technique you can put it into practice. Bring along a commercial pattern that you would like to make, learn how to alter the pattern and make up a toile so that you can then go on and make up the perfect fitting garment at home.
