Independent Pattern Designer Month

Following on from last year’s hugely successful Marcy Tilton month, we have chosen for this year’ s Autumn focus to dedicated this month of the dressmaking workshops to the growing independent pattern movement. We have chosen a mix of patterns using various fabrics so if you are looking for an unusual design, would like to learn new techniques or work with a difficult fabric there is something for everyone. An exciting challenging month for everyone and we are really looking forward to creating beautiful garments

US based Colette pattern company was formed in 2009, dedicated to reviving the art of sewing supplying designed to teach paper patterns

LADY GREY COAT

Short wrap coat with princess seams, perfect for between seasons. Has a very wide collar, 3/4 length sleeves that look wonderful with bracelets or long gloves, and fullness at the hem. Coat is fully lined. Closes with one internal and one external button, and includes wide self-fabric tie belt.
