Couture Skirt - 6th & 7th June

Couture" means dressmaking or sewing and is always associated with high quality. Couture clothes hang beautifully and last for years, they may take longer to make but it is always worth taking the time, especially if you have beautiful fabric. On this workshop you will learn all the skills needed to create a perfectly fitted and finished couture skirt. You will first make a toile which will be altered to fit your figure, next learn about interlining, correct interfacings, zips, waistbands, fastenings and all the hand stiches needed for a couture finish to your garment.
