Beginners Shibori 6th July
The cost of the workshop includes all patterns, materials and notions, and of course coffee, tea and plenty of biscuits!
Shibori is the Japanese art of resist dying using binding, folding, stitching and twisting to create beautiful fabrics. Kanoko shibori is what we would term as tie-dye but the Japanese developed many many more techniques to create incredibly beautiful patterns.
On this course you will learn many of the techniques and how to prepare the dyes. All the dyes we prepare will be safe to use at home. By the end of the day you will have a stash of samples and notes on how to continue to expand this technique.
