Sashiko iss a form of decorative stitching from Japan. Traditionally used to reinforce points of wear, or to repair worn places or tears with patches, this running stitch technique has now developed into a decorative stitch form. The white cotton thread on the traditional indigo blue cloth gives sashiko its distinctive appearance, .This is a beautiful way to stitch and can be used in quilts, cushions and clothing. You will learn how to mark the geometric patterns and stitch order. Using beautiful Sashiko thread.
