Day one - A day of mark making and developing ways to notate our ideas. Collage is a very important technique in textiles as it gives us the opportunity to explore shape, proportion and texture. We will also work with stitch both on paper and fabric. Day two and three - I am thrilled to welcome the artist Julie Sajous to the studio for day two of this workshop who will be covering colour and how we can develop our use of it within our textile work. We will be looking at basic colour theory and how we create shades and match colours.
