We will also work with stitch both on paper and fabric. Day two and three - I am thrilled to welcome the artist Julie Sajous to the studio for day two of this workshop who will be covering colour and how we can develop our use of it within our textile work. We will be looking at basic colour theory and how we create shades and match colours. We will be working with acrylic which as we can use with a fabric medium is also incredibly useful not just for our sketchbooks but also for further work on fabric At the end of the two days you will take with you the beginnings of a journal that will inspire your future work whether it is a quilt, a wall piece, a cushion or a dress.
